Boarding
At Lamoille Kennels, we provide a comfortable, safe, and enriching boarding experience. Whether your pup enjoys socializing or prefers a more independent stay, our facility offers a structured and caring environment designed to keep them happy and relaxed while you’re away.
Each guest enjoys their own private kennel with raised bed, offering a climate-controlled space (heat in the fall and winter and Air Conditioning during the hotter months), where they can rest peacefully between activities.
A Day & Night at Lamoille Kennels for Boarding Dogs
For Social Dogs
The day begins with a morning potty break and breakfast, served with optional food enrichment to keep mealtime engaging. After a short rest, social dogs join their carefully selected playgroups for supervised small-group play, where they can run, explore, and interact safely. Midday brings a rest period in their private kennel, allowing them to recharge before an afternoon filled with more playtime, on-leash walks, or enrichment activities.
As the evening approaches, dogs enjoy a final play session before dinner. After dinner, they have a relaxing wind-down period in their private kennel before a last potty break and bedtime, ensuring they sleep soundly in their cozy, climate-controlled space.
For solo dogs who prefer a quieter, individualized experience, the day follows a similar structure with personalized care. After a morning potty break and breakfast, they enjoy one-on-one enrichment activities, such as training exercises, interactive toys, or solo play with a staff member. Instead of group play, they receive personalized attention, including individual on-leash walks and private yard time for exploration.
Midday offers a rest period in their private kennel before another round of customized activities in the afternoon, ensuring they receive both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Dinner is served in the evening followed by a relaxing evening routine that includes a final walk/potty break, and wind-down time in their kennel where calming music lulls them to sleep.
Kennels Choices
Dogs are assigned kennels based on their size, kennel history, and temperament to ensure their comfort and safety. Our kennels are available in the following sizes:
- 6x8: Two 6x4 sections.
- 6x10: One 6x4 section and one 6x8 section.
- 3x10: One 3x4 section and one 3x6 section.
- Blue Gator Kennels: Constructed from heavy-duty HDPE plastic, providing durability and a secure environment.
- Galvanized Chain Link Kennels: Designed with galvanized sheet metal privacy panels between each kennel, these kennels have 4-foot ceilings on one side and 7-foot ceilings on the other for added versatility.
Cat Boarding
At Lamoille Kennels, we provide a quiet, comfortable, and stress-free boarding experience designed just for cats. Our feline guests stay in private, climate-controlled enclosures where they can relax, play, and enjoy their time away from home. Each cat receives individualized attention, ensuring they feel safe and cared for throughout their stay. Our cat boarding area is separate from our dog kennels, creating a calm and peaceful environment. Each enclosure includes cozy bedding, a litter box that is cleaned daily, and perches or hiding spots for added comfort. To keep our guests engaged, we offer daily enrichment such as interactive toys, scratching posts, and one-on-one attention from our staff. If your cat enjoys the company of other cats, they can spend a majority of their day out and about in our cat trees and perches around the room with others.
We understand that every cat has unique preferences, so we follow their regular feeding routines and can accommodate special diets. Fresh water is always available, and we offer food enrichment options to make mealtime more enjoyable. Whether your cat loves to explore or prefers a quiet retreat, we tailor their stay to their personality, ensuring they feel at ease.
