Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring?
You need to bring food, any necessary medications, and a collar. Read below for details!
Will my dog/cat get to play with others?
While many pet owners love to take their dogs to dog parks to socialize, we do not offer a daycare or social experience at our boarding kennels. Safety is always at the forefront of our mind when it comes to our boarding animals, and we do not want to put any animal in a position of being hurt. All of our dogs are let outside for individual playtime 1:1 with us. We provide them with enriching experiences including off leash playing in one of our fenced play yards (fetch, flirt poles, scent work, training games, agility activities), sniff walks, hikes, food puzzles, and of course, snuggles! These daily opportunities keep our dogs active and engaged, which leads to happy and tired pups at the end of the day! Our cats are afforded the same daily opurtunties out of their kennels for independent lounge time in the cat room (a variety of cat trees and lazy areas are available), 1:1 playtime with us, and lots of cuddles.
My dog is very elderly and sometimes has accidents, can they still board with you?
We love dogs of all ages and are happy to offer elderly care, which may include more frequent opportunities to go outside and use the potty, differentiated activities, including more cuddling and hanging with us during our office chores and different food enrichment opportunties as opposed to playing outside. This is an added service of $10 you can add to your booking. We reserve the right to add this if your dog required this extra care to have an enjoyable experience at our facility.
My animal requires medicine, can you administer it?
We can administer medicine up to two times a day for your animal for no added fee. This can include topicals and pills. We will make every attempt to give you pet their medication, but cannot guarantee it if your animal is typically resistant to medication. If it becomes a challenge, we will contact you and work together to problem solve and help your pet stay healthy and happy.
What vaccines do you require?
We require all our animals to have a current rabies vaccination and be on flea/tick preventative. We require our dogs to have bordetella and distemper and our cats to have FVRCP.

- Food: It is important for the health of your pet that they continue on their present diet. If you know their tummy is flexible, we are happy to feed them our house food, which is Red Flannel Canine Select dry kibble.
- Medication: Any medication that your pet may need should be brought in it's original packaging and be labeled with directions/dosage from the prescriber.
- Collar: We require all dogs and cats to have collars on, which is especially important for when we take dogs out on walks and hikes.
- Comfort Items: While we provide off the ground beds with blankets, some pets may enjoy an old tshirt or pillow case with your scent on it. You can also provide a special toy or bed, but it may get muddy or ripped while you animal is staying with us.
